A few people had asked me about my outlines, so I thought I'd make a tutorial.
I'm no expert at Photoshop but I know what works for me. Hopefully you'll learn some good stuff from this (or develop a better method--in which case please share it with everyone! ), but if not at least I had fun making the tutorial. >C
I tried to keep it simple as possible, and use lots of pictures! >D
If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. C:
That is very helpful! I've been trying to find a good lineart tutorial for a while. Also, a question. How did you get the lineart to turn a different color in the final drawing?

Just lock the transparency for that layer (it's a little square box thing on the Layers Pallet, and you click it to check it), and then you can fill that layer with any color and BOOM. Pretty lines.
I saw you commenting on one on kumanor's pieces, and i though i should check your art out! And i have to say this is the most useful line tutorial i have ever seen, it beats all those vector ones by far!! Thankyou for doing it!! +Fav for sure!!
Also this tutorial is like a piece of art in itself! Its so colourful and happy =3
P.s. I really like the way you say that lineart should be part of the art too, i have a tendedcy to rush my lineart, this gave me a... shove along in the right direction Thankyou <33

Aww! Thank you! Yeah, I really get bored with outlines, but I think when you rush em they just look...blah. So it's good to give them the credit they deserve. :3
You're very welcome! Yes i totally agree! I'm about 3/4 way through my first painting, the lineart isn't mine but i love painting i need to learn to do the lineart so i can paint
